PROGRAM &
SERVICE Highlights
The MHAMC sponsors workshops
and training for both professionals and the general public. We
collaborate with many local agencies and business to provide free
Health Fairs throughout Miami County to promote education on mental
illness topics and promote mental wellness.
If you would
like to have the MHAMC participate in a health fair at your place of
business, please call Karen Schultz, Executive Director @
937-332-9293
or email: mhamc@verizon.net

the negative effects and management of stress through collaborative
partnership with such agencies as YWCA Piqua and Health Partners of
Miami County.
Teddy Bear Patrol

The MHAMC provides teddy bears to
local police and EMS agencies to distribute to children in crisis to
provide them some comfort in their time of need.
Implemented in 1991, this supportive program
has been successful in assisting rescue workers in making crisis experiences less
frightening for children.
